This deck started out as a stone patio, landscaped with large shrubs and ornamental rocks. The family has young children and wanted a large deck for family bar-b-que and entertaining. 
Framing is complete
Deck and fascia are made of Azek- a man made wood type product. Extremely durable, lifetime guarantee. Skirt/privacy screens and railings are all cedar. Railings are finished with high density glass.
I also constructed this short fence/gate between the properties.
